MY
WORK
CASE STUDIES
My partnership with the Innovative Finance Team transformed the way they reported impact data for their Zero Gap Fund 2022 impact report. In addition to managing, analyzing and visualizing their data, I coordinated with report writers and designers for a successful launch. I also assessed their Impact Management & Measurement (IMM) approach and made recommendations.
Fortune 100 Multinational Financial Services Corporation
I partnered with this Fortune 50's foundation and corporate giving teams to help reimagine their philanthropic strategy , solidifying a Theory of Change and impact measurement framework.. I also helped enhance a systematic approach to measuring progress toward impact goals.
Supporting new leadership, I facilitated a strategic refinement process for the Aspen Institute’s Global Innovators Group which included prioritizing strategic decisions, articulating shifts through compelling visuals and narrative, and designing a new Theory of Change. The resulting ecosystem unifies community and local leadership to catalyze innovations for decolonizing global health, and was presented by the Executive Director onstage at the 2022 Aspen Ideas Festival: Health.
I conducted an external scan and designed a Theory of Change to support the foundation’s strategic giving, helping the team further refine their efforts to strengthen health systems toward equitable outcomes by prioritizing a set of measures they could employ with partners to better understand what’s working.
Partnership for Quality Medical Donations. I helped build a Measurement and Evaluation Toolkit for this membership group of over 40 corporations and non-profit organizations that lead strategies to deliver needed medical products to communities globally. I have also provided strategic support on measurement and evaluation across the network, which has included supporting early efforts to design an impact framework and priority indicators for the medical donations space.
In 2019, I supported a major transformation for this organization which funds global grassroots women-led organizations leading economic advancement for women. This yielded a new model, name, and significant organizational changes. I designed a new Theory of Change, created a measurement framework, developed and helped implement a grantee reporting approach, supported visualization of results, and conducted multiple learning exercises with grantees.
In 2019, I designed a new Theory of Change, grant application and reporting forms, and measurement framework for DDCF’s Child Well-being Program, helping the organization reimagine over $15 million in annual grants with deeper community engagement and leadership development.
I facilitated a strategic refinement process for Regeneron's corporate social responsibility function, conducting a landscape scan and internal interviews, and scenario-mapping strategic directions. This work has supported the company in further focusing over $18M of corporate giving toward access to STEM opportunities, and enabled the team to explore new opportunities for corporate giving that leverage core company strengths.
I am currently helping to refine this company's Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) framework for their pioneering impact investing fund, creating a clear conceptualization of impact, embedding it in tools for impact screening and due diligence, and supporting implementation.
